Be seeing ewe

Wednesday's walk with Cumbernauld & Kilsyth Ramblers was in the Pentland Hills Regional Park, to the south of Edinburgh.

Most of us had travelled through to Edinburgh by train, where we met up. A bus journey took us out to the start-point of the walk near Balerno and we walked past Threipmuir, Harlaw, Clubbiedean and Torduff Reservoirs to Bonaly, from where we returned to the city centre by bus. It was a good day out; dry but not as sunny as we had expected.

Our 'lunch stop' was on the banks of the Clubbiedean Reservoir and our collective eyes were drawn to the ewe and lamb having their own lunches (water and grass for the ewe and milk for the lamb) on the opposite bank.
