Mother's Day

Hobbled to church today in my brace and cane (took forever, everything takes forever!). Mums received red carnations in honour of Mother's Day.

Then lunch at one of my favourite places at the Marina Club.

I've thought of my mum a lot today as she was disabled and her whole life was 'slow' as she was pushed around in her wheelchair and walked on crutches when she could. Feeling her more than ever these days.

My boys got me these flowers, which I really appreciated, got heartfelt cards too. I might have done something right.

Nice day spent with my boys. I do like being their mum :)
