Walk in the Woods

After the heavy rain and gales this morning we headed off to Greve de Lecq woods, with Rik who's having a couple of days off. I haven't been for ages and it was lovely to see the bluebells having a final flush. We saw quite a few insects including a Painted Lady butterfly , but the light was really poor most of the time.
I've added the bluebells as extra today. Hoping to get to St. Catherine's Woods tomorrow to see damselflies!
