6 May 2015 - Berlin Skyline

A REALLY busy day seeing all the main sights of Berlin.  Took a bit of a tour of the Berlin wall, starting at Brandenberger Tor, the Holocaust Memorial, Hitler's Bunker site, Potsdamer Platz and Checkpoint Charlie.  Afternoon was spent taking a riverboat cruise through the centre of Berlin which was really nice. 

I felt that the Holocaust Memorial was really effective and was claustrophobic in places, shame there were children running around it and climbing on it, not really appropriate. 

Went to a really good vegetarian restaurant in the evening which was amazing, the food was fabulous and it was worth seeking out following a recommendation in the Lonely Planet book.
