Festival of Folk

This afternoon we took a trip into Holmfirth to see all the goings on with Morris Dancing & events happening with the Folk Festival.
There was pocket money burning holes in 4 small pockets.
Alex & I had an alfresco beverage amongst all the Wickerman Pagan excitement. He took a stroll to the park for a while & then detoured to the pizza takeaway for tea on the way home.
Alex spent most of the evening cooking food for our families coming tomorrow & I baked a Devil's chocolate cake to ice tomorrow.
Unfortunately the we had a dramatic power cut, & according to the wonderment of social media, we learned that 1700 households in Holmfirth shared our predicament. Lest sitting in front of a selection of candles, we headed to bed for an earlyish night ahead of a busy day.
