I had a realisation today that I'll miss my Friday mornings with Alex when he starts school in late summer. I loved my Fridays when it was only Tom before Alex arrived, and equally I've loved the adventures the pair of us have had whilst Tom has been in school.

That didn't stop us trekking around Lidl, saying hi to Pensioner and his Motley Crue Crew at the harbour, going to the garage, chatting with Neill at the bike shop etc etc.

Then the chaos kicked in with the school pick ups; lunch, and until we dropped G at her party / sleepover, it was 110 mph. Late afternoon we got home, stuck a dvd on and they relaced into it - both very tired after a busy week.

We did meatballs in goulash sauce - Tom's fave and chilled our way through the evening. (Tomorrow will be more upbeat)

And a quiet evening, lots of chatting in the ad breaks; Sunday can't come soon enough.
