Flower Blip #4,596,753

It's a flower blip, from something that I'm told is poisonous. Thankfully I'm not prone to munching on flowers so I think I'll be alright. Unless it spreads its poison through the medium of just being seen in the garden. If it does that then I'm done for.

In other news it's the Jubilee which is fairly exciting for me because it means I get to work in a quiet office / store for two days while everyone else gets shitfaced and spends money they can ill afford to on patriotic tat to make there house look like everyone elses.

Don't get me wrong I think it's alright. The Royal Family are cracking for this country and may be a tourist attraction these days, but they are a lucrative tourist attraction. This country needs a boost and spending a few million quid on an event that generates jobs and increased sales in low quality tat is a real bonus. Not like the Olympics. That has cost us a lot of money and has ALREADY bored me stupid.

I'm just cranky because I have to work. Today I did £164 of sales in our five hours of opening. Tomorrow I anticipate breaking the £200 barrier. Mind you I did rearrange the tea room so it accomodates a sofa now. For me.
