The Orchid Express
This morning I went on the Orchid Express which was a short ride on a Cambrian Heritage Railways train then a Wildlife Trust walk back to the station looking at wild flowers. The walk went over Llynclys Common where there were masses of different types of flowers including lots of Early Purple Orchids as in my blip.
The walk went through woodland tracks lined with ransoms and swathes of bluebells as well as wildflower meadows (pictured in my extra blip). I go to the common regularly but an expert knew tracks that I hadn't been along before.
