Spring

A view from the woodland over the Beauly Firth to Easter Ross. There was fresh snow on Wyvis that fell as sleet on  us, an icy wind then hot sun - all part of the pattern! The oaks in the woods visible here are a lovely yellowish green this year.
The day started with watching a pair of Ospreys preening in a field alongside the A9, a major trunk road, for twenty minutes, so added them as an extra.
