Bizarre

This has to go down as one of the more extraordinary sporting events I've been to.

In a nutshell, it turned out to be a fancy dress party for 40,000 people with a bit of rugby as a sideline. I've never seen so many fancy dress costumes, so many people attending an event without watching it, or so much booze drunk at a sporting event.

Pity they didn't watch the action because the London Rugby Sevens produced some decent matches.
