Perfect view

This is the view from the window of the room I stayed in last night.

Yesterday was our 30th wedding anniversary and my wife and I had a delicious meal in a smart Bristol restaurant, saw a film and stayed at this hotel overlooking the Avon gorge.

It would have been nice to have marked the anniversary with friends and family, or maybe gone away for a few days. However, our younger son gets married next week, so neither of those options was really possible.

But we've still had a great time and both feel really blessed to have had such a long and happy marriage.
