Birthday Boy

Bailey's first birthday today and he has been spoiled rotten. New toys, a birthday card, wrapped up parcels and a trip to the seaside, sitting in the back of the new car with his favourite. The new car drives beautifully and is now just over the 100 mile mark - the sea really is just that little bit too far away. Bailey ran on the beach, made some new friends (regardless of whether they wanted to meet him or not) and tried to help with the grounded kite. We walked, sat in the sun, flew the kite and had fish and chips (Bailey might have had some fish too - and shells and a discovered crab claw) and all in lovely sunshine with bright blue skies - much better than the forecast. So,  now he is fast asleep well before his usual bedtime having well and truly celebrated his first birthday.
