M arrived from Leamington and we spent the afternoon and evening with A in the hospital.  

While we're OK with the medical attention, the 'support' service leaves a lot to be desired.  Just how someone who's lost strength and control in one hand is going to open the sealed pack of sandwiches, biscuits, etc. doesn't seem to be occurring to any of the staff.

Excellent meal at the newish Chinese restaurant, the oddly named "Rosemary", in Headington.  Food was good, service was outstanding; things just happened without having to ask.

Like it ought to be.
