Hanmer from Conical Hill

This is a birds eye photo of Hanmer Springs from Conical Hill.  The day started out cloudy, but by the time we left Hanmer to return home at 11.30am, the sun was out and it was lovely and warm.

It always amazes me how popular Hanmer Springs is.  There were people everywhere this morning; walking, swimming at the thermal pools, and sitting in (or out of) Cafes, enjoying Sunday morning.  It was a lovely relaxed atmosphere.

We arrived home to a beautiful warm afternoon.  After what feels like weeks of rain, the sun was shinning.  I mowed our lawns, something that hadn't been done for a couple of weeks, as it was always raining.   Hopefully this week will be a bit dryer.
