Birthday Boy
Beautiful sunny day in Berkshire & Twickenham.
Mark cooked breakfast and we eventually headed off to Reading.
First on the children's Weekend Bucket List was Krispy Kreme. Drinks and a doughnut before noticing that it was one box of 12 assorted for £12 or £13 if you included a box of 12 plain, Mark took them home to save us eating them on the train!!
Train time;
Reading > Twickenham
Twickenham > Teddington
Teddington > Hampton
The journey was enlivened by spectators of the Rugby Sevens filling Twickenham in fancy dress.
Neither Sam or Josh seemed impressed with Clare and my rendition of Ernie with Two Ton Ted From Teddington as we passed through.
Jeanette's father Neil, met us at Hampton station and we had a great time with Chloe and Freya at Granny's house.
By bus with Barry to Eel Pie Island for a really great 40th Birthday Party. It's always good to spend time with family, and especially with the grandchildren.
We left thirty minutes later than planned, direct Twickenham > Reading, arriving indoors around 0030 tired and happy.
