Arroyo De La Miel

This morning we set off for a wander into the campo near Algeciras. A path that leads up into the hills along a tiny stream, gurgling appealingly alongside.

After about an hour, we arrived at this beautiful pool with a waterfall at the end. Buster had a welcome drink and we sat in the shade and enjoyed the sounds and the view.

After we came back down again, we spent a while exploring the coast nearby. It is a very beautiful stretch of sea beyond Gibraltar, bristling with naval activity. Ships big and huge sat at anchor in the bay, a few making their way to or from their bunkers.

We shall return again soon and explore some more.
