St Ouen's Bay Sunset

A quick blip and dash...

Singing this morning for the service at St Clements Church about a 10 minute drive away - very welcoming and appreciative congregation who gave us wine afterwards - a good start to the day. this was followed by a superb buffet lunch back at the hotel.

We then headed out to look at the northern coast of the island stopping at several delightful bays on the way and managing to see a whole field of Jersey cows too.

Our aim was to end up somewhere along the western coast to catch the sunset.  We settled on a spot half way down with an old gun turret as a backdrop.  Not a particularly splendid sunset as there was some low cloud but worth the wait in a cool, blustery wind.
