Once a beautiful Iris!

What a wet morning .. wellies necessary for my walk round Maxwell Park. No sign of the ducklings ... I hope they were safely tucked up on the island. Gulls and heron not around so I'm hoping all is well.
The flowers were well and truly soaked with many petals looking quite translucent. It was a toss up between a tulip and an iris ... the latter being the winner!
