Odontophobia

I have a completely irrational fear of the dentist, despite the fact that our dentist is actually excellent. It's the feel of metal in my mouth, together with the sound and the suction of that thing that sucks away all the saliva. I absolutely hate it. 

I had a check up today, and fortunately everything is fine, but even after five minutes in the dentist's chair I was sweating. Thank goodness that's over for another six months.
