Gently down the stream

Pink cheeks

In my garden anyway it's a bit of a pink time of year.  Here are 2 kinds of cranesbills (sorry, I think we're supposed to call them geraniums these days).  Both have scented leaves and spill over less-than-attractive bits of brick and concrete which they do a good job hiding.  I'm afraid I was a hooligan and took a piece of root of each variety from a very neglected Council bed on the corner of our road.  I'm glad I did because a couple of months later the Green Party came and dug the rest up and planted daffs instead in a pattern that read 'Vote Green' and was quickly smothered in weeds.

I'm pretty fond of their prim little pink cheeks.  These ones are sitting in a pot I bought in a junk shop years ago and usually keep my pens in.

Have a good evening, lovely blippers  xx
