Porty People and Places

My youngest sister, V and my brother-in-law G arrived from the south today. This is the first full day of their three week Hebridean Odyssey. Tomorrow they head for Oban and the ferry to Castlebay at first light on Thursday.

They brought their 70 year old dog with them and she outran us all on the 5 mile walk around Newhailes and back along the sands.  

They have brought the sunshine, if not the warmth, with them. It is lovely to catch up and hear all about their imminent Hebridean adventure.
