A WORK IN PROGRESS

Messy, semi-wild gardens are much harder work than tidy ones - which is a pity because my preference is for the former. I tend to let areas of the garden do their own thing with minimum interference, but this one had become so choked with couch grass a serious clear out was required.  It's the base of the one time outdoor toilet, removed before my time.  I would have left it - sometimes I get so involved in the garden I can hardly make it back to the house in time. 

Gadding about by train again today, this time to Irvine to discuss a potential contract. Then home to work at the computer during the showers and in the garden during the dry spells.  It was a day of contrasts.
