Went down the croft with the Oca plants today, and after raking over the rotorvated ground, planted around 100 pots.. Then hoed between the onions until it started raining..

Took Tanni down the beach for a swim and run to dry off, and back up to the house.

Hoovered round, there was dog hair everywhere, she does shed hairs a bit..

Put I's trailer on and blew the tyres up, they were a bit soft. Then had a look at the rear window wiper motor. It's not been working for some time. Dismantling it, I found that there's a plastic cog wheel about 3 inches diameter, that has lost a lot of teeth. It's not repairable so do I phone the local Volvo dealer and arrange to pick up a new part tomorrow? Tried looking for their number in the phone book without success, so looked them up on line. Still couldn't find them, so did a search for online spares dealers. Found the replacement part, but it was £254. So looked for another site and found one for £128.. Fitting is simple, 3 screws, an electric socket and plug for the electrics, the washer pipe to fit, and wiper blade. It should take no longer than 5 minutes.. I wonder how much the dealer would charge for that? I dread to think..

Some red Pak choi with chinese cabbage. Theres the odd tomato showing through. Courgettes to either side, and runner beans with lettuce at the top..

A meeting tonight for the Gala event. Actually decided on a timetable of events, and layout of marquees, stalls and games.. It should be a good weekend..
