Foinaven and Strath Dionard..
Another busy day. Up early, and animals fed, greenhouses and poly-tunnel watered
Time for a quick yoghurt for breakfast, and then off to get some new hens.
A trip down to Ullapool, and on to Braemore Junction. Met Donald "the Hen" (remember Monty Halls survival/crofting show?). Donald was just turning into the car park as I arrived. Perfect timing, especially as we'd driven 175 miles between us!
Got two hen houses loaded onto my trailer, and then the hens into crates inside the houses. 64 in total.
A gentle ride back, dropping 5 of at J's at Upper Badcall, 29 at our house, and then a drive up to Durness to drop off the sheds, and another 30 hens.
Stopped off at Kyle of Durness for a walk around the shore, where Tanni found a stick that wasn't attached to anything. She also had fun chasing geese. They were on the water and she thought she could outswim them!!
Got this lovely shot on the way back to Scourie..
Music..
Have a meeting in the Hall tomorrow at 10 for the Development co. Then planting lettuce at the lodge (but lost a tray today with the heat in the greenhouse).. Then pick G up on Weds.. (Smiley face icon thingy!)..
