on yet another rainy day

i had the distinct - impression that as she - was gazing at me - she was also asking me - "when is this rain going to end mama" - and i have no answer for her - as we continue to - experience severe water downfalls - flash floods - mudslides - swampy conditions - trails getting washed out - it's good to have moisture - on the one hand - but on the other when it - causes such distress to - nature as well as the general environment - it's tough to reconcile the positives - lately i have felt as though - i live in seattle - where rain is more natural - but this will pass - the earth will absorb the excess - water and we will move on - from where we are now - and insure to make it...
