Mahon

Today we drove to Mahon - the main town in Minorca to have a wander around the town and Market. Mahon is situated on a huge estuary not far from the coast and is a very interesting place - loads of lovely old buildings and loads of boats - although the water front is down a huge hill. The photo is from nearish the top of the hill.
We then drove to Sa Mesquida to spend some time on the beach although by then it had clouded over quite a bit - but still managed a snooze :). Then to Es Grau for coffee and dessert and another short walk.
Back to our apartment then a lovely meal in a restaurant overlooking the bay - great end to a great day.
