Tree creeper
When I went to Pipe Hall Farm Woods last week, a young girl with a lovely new camera mentioned that she'd taken a photo of a tree creeper in Parker's Plantain, by the bridge.
Optimistically, I decided to see if I could find it.
Pure luck - I spotted this cute little bird creeping his (or her) way up the old hollow tree - by the bridge. I took a few shots (including one of the sweetie vanishing into the hole). Not the best quality - but a reminder that I can be lucky, even if I lack the patience or knowledge to be an even passable wildlife photographer.
The squirrel by the feeders is getting cheekier. Staring me out, as if to say : "So - what are you going to do about it then...."
The bluebells are just past their prime, but still lovely - I've included them as one of my extras today.
I waited for ages by the tree on my way back, just in case the tree creeper put in another appearance, so I could experiment with settings and get the perfect photo.... Dream on.
