Peaking at the Tors
We went for a walk with the local walking group around the lanes in Woodbury Salterton up to the Common and back again. Many wild flowers were spotted including lots of bluebells, yellow pimpernel, wild strawberries and speedwell. A deer was seen in the distance and several of us spent some time looking at this view trying to make out which Tors on Dartmoor can just be seen peaking above the nearest hills. The water visible is the River Exe.
An enjoyable walk on a mainly sunny day.
