Beside the seaside ...

Went to visit my elderly aunt and uncle today, still very chipper and living independently in their 90s. Then I had a work trip to do, but first I couldn't resist a brief diversion to a favourite seaside spot, the little town of Whitstable on the north-east Kent coast.

The harbour was full of fishing boats, with hopeful birds perched here and there, hopeful of some fishy meal scraps. Time was short today, but I'm determined to go back soon and linger longer.
