Reims Cathedral.

This is one of the windows designed by Marc Chagall (1887 - 1985) for a chapel in the magnificent cathedral in Reims.

"All the expectations of The Old Testament can be seen in this window.  The tree of Jesse shows the lineage of The King of Judah.  In the rose window at the top, wearing green haloes of rebirth, are the Virgin and child announced by the prophets."
