ScareSparrow

About a week or so ago our Son, Daniel, spotted a sparrow flying into my bedroom window, picking up a stick from the flower pot on the windowsill and flying off back out again. Obviously collecting nesting material. I've got some Orchids on the windowsill and there are loose dried roots sticking around the top of the pots so I think that's what it was after.

We all thought it was hilarious and our Daughters friend bought the two little scarecrowssparrows for me as a joke. They are really lovely, as was the thought, and I've stuck them in the pots.
Seem to be working so far, the orchids have not been raided since.
