Eider

After popping into the Royal Infirmary and having a very useful talk with the consultant we drove out in the rain through Longniddry Bents to North Berwick. We got in front of the rain. had fish and chips and let the wind blow though us out on the rocks. The Bass Rock looked stunning - each dot is a gannet - and as I was using the rock as a tripod this beautiful female Eider Duck appeared six feet in front of me hopping up the rocks. Back to the hospital now.
