Thirsty work ...

Spent the morning sorting out more cattle then ran them out to the other hill today. The Estate felled the wood behind this field last winter,so it will be a draughty hole up there this year. The rain cleared by lunch time,but still cool.
2 vets and 2 final year vet students out this afternoon to fertility test 3 more bulls. They were a bit more civilized than last weeks ones (the bulls,not the vets ! ) Then for a bit more experience,let one of them castrate a chaser calf (one that wasn't cut properly the first time).Sweet breads for tea then ! (NOT)
