......... Friday - it seems to come around so quickly these days - old age, I suppose!!

Since we went away this tree in the front garden (I think it's a Rowan) has covered itself in blossom - from inside the house it looks very "fluffy" - these are the flower buds just before opening.  When the blossom finishes it will be covered in red berries (and starlings!).

Equipment and post-processing used:  camera, tripod, 18-105mm lens, screw-on +10 close-up lens, slight sharpen and a "frosted" edging - otherwise, straight from the camera  -  lol.



A busy day yesterday moving Mum from one temporary place to another temporary place, a visit from the Social Worker and forms to fill in.  Today an appointment with a physiotherapist - I intend to try and convince him that Mum is definitely not fit enough to be transferred to an "extra care" facility which entails her renting an "apartment" in a custom built building, no night-time assistance or nursing and having to pay extra for meals, cleaning, laundry etc. etc. etc.  ......... the social worker seems to think we haven't ticked enough boxes for them to pay for long-term care.  
Mum cannot now stand or walk unaided, is finding it very painful to dress herself and showering without assistance is impossible. She isn't even be able to make herself a cup of tea,make a slice of toast or a sandwich and the strong painkillers (and morphine) she is on make her very drowsy - I'm not sure which other boxes there are to tick!
So frustrating to say the least.

I WILL sort it out one way or another.
