The Botanical Garden

I found some interesting balls on posts at the Botanical
Garden.  They must be flower statuary i.e. a way to exhibit
current blooms.  I am sure the display will change as the growing
season progresses.  These are pansy balls and appear to
have been the first blooms of the season.  I love them; many
flower plants are combined to make Larger sculptural flowers.
Note the black stem in the upper photo.  They stand about
four feet high and are quite effective!
