The Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island.

In the next few days, I will give you a tour of the Grand Hotel.
Our retreat was held in this historic hotel.  Please read of its
history so that you can understand better what you are
looking at.  This hotel was ready for its first guests in
1904.  We walked a mile from the ferry dock up-hill to arrive
at our destination.  There are no vehicles on the island.
and horse power is used all vehicular travel.
