Garden colour

This rhododendron has struggled away for many years since it was about 1 foot tall. It's on an exposed border and is there to serve as a shield ... we just couldn't bear a conifer hedge as there's such a great view over the fields and hills. It needs re-shaping, but to do that might require brutality and I'm terrified to lose it.

In the meantime, the sheer joy of its flowers.
