The Neglected Garden.

You've heard of The Secret Garden but the secret here is that this poor garden is neglected in the autumn and winter because I am so lazy and in spring and summer because the cottage garden gets my attention and time.

This time having abandoned it for a week which started with the clay soil sodden, the grassy bit (Just could not describe it as a lawn!) spongey and the pots muddy, I've returned to find that a dry week and yesterday's high temperatures have shrivelled so many of the plants on the patio. Ooops!

Poor garden! But at least it isn't paved over!
