scuttling silence
today i felt a bit of a hybrid
TSEliots "I should have been a pair of ragged claws, scuttling across the floors of silent seas" vs
Sylvia Plaths ""I don't know how long I kept at it...
I felt reasonably safe, streched out on the floor, and lay quite still"
one of those days ...
so i decided if I was going to be a hermit crab or a silent body I should have my camera near at hand - lens off to catch the elusive Doris in her wall scuttlings.... huh who was I kidding... she was onto me - I could hear her outside the bungalow chattering away daring the birds to come and make a meal of her....the way she acts you'd think she was a bloody big Tokay gecko....
speaking of meals... i did get hungry by the afternoon so slunk up to the communal bungalow for a quick sandwich and chat with Miss M - who consented to be my blip today and avoid dragging out the old penguins....
so back in my silent world - i think for today that will be the way of things...
tomorrow i will put on some loud music (and thoroughly piss off Doris), get packed for Bangkok, get up to the bears and maybe engage in life a little.... (hmm might even talk to someone :) - the bell jar is good for a visit now and then but then it needs to crack
