Boston streets

Arrived in Boston, dumped our stuff and went for a wander.  What a glorious city!  Such a mixture of history and modernity.  The pace felt so different from New York and everything was on a smaller scale.  We wandered fairly aimlessly,  as we were planning to do serious sightseeing the next day.

There was lovely light falling between the buildings bringing out the warm tones of the brick and then this lady in red walked into my shot ...thank you lovely lady!

After walking all day in the heat, we fell into a cool bar/restaurant for a meal.  mark was invited to do a beer tasting, which, being a Yorkshireman, he took very seriously as you can imagine.

The back to the hotel via the tube metro T  to recharge batteries ( camera, phone, laptop and ours) ready for another day.
