Late Daffs..

Up early this morning (after a late night) because the forecast for the morning was good. Blazing sunshine, warm, and still..

Down the croft with the push hoe, and hoed a veg patch that I'd previously sown to salads. Hardly anything had come up (I think it came up and went back in again!), so I cleared the weeds (they grew OK).

Back up to the house, and water the greenhouses, polytunnel, and A's greenhouse. Doors and windows opened, it was scorchio..

Made G's tea, and had breakfast, and then back down with the seed drill, hoe, and seeds. Re-sowed all the salads, parsley, chard, pak choi, about 30 rows in all..

Inspected the beetroot, parsnip, and carrot patches, and there are some plants coming up. So I left those and sowed another seven rows of carrots. Checked the Salsify and Schorzonera, and they are just emerging too.

G delivered some eggs (we were short last night), and gave Tanni a run on the beach.

It started raining soon after, and is still doing it. You can see the water on the Daff's leaves. Not sure I like this type of daff. They should be yellow, and have trumpets. They came with the garden..
