En Route to Appleby

A sunny day at last. Driving to a great moorland walk with S and M through Masham we passed the travellers camp. (They take their time to get to the famous annual horse fair there, from all over the country)

The walk was about 7 miles, very varied, over moorland (Agra Moor top) with curlews and lapwings, and back by a little stream with bluebells on the banks.

Tonight we had a very healthy and delicious meal In Leyburn, well-cooked hake, salsify and artichoke.
