Eye to Eye

In the corner of the garden seems to be a place that insects like to hang around. I've no idea why as there are no flowers there, just some old ivy on a fence. It might be because it is sheltered with little wind and usually warmed by the sun, but whatever the reason I often find a lot of Hover flies and other things flying around in this corner.

Today I went for this fly and luckily for me, as I was taking its picture side on it jumped round and started walking towards the camera.
