Waverley

Not the train station and not the book. Instead it is the world's last sea-going, passenger carrying paddle steamer and today was the first day of this year's trips 'doon the watter' and it was a glorious day for it.

After a busy day working in the European election campaign followed by a late night watching the TV as some of the early results came in from the English council elections, this morning I was at BBC Scotland HQ to be interviewed on the Good Morning Scotland programme about what I thought of the European elections and the council results in England.

After finishing the interview I walked along in front of the Science Centre to the Waverley and took this shot.
