He slept!
Eventually anyway - he was not up for sleeping today, we had lots of crying despite the yawning and eye rubbing, so I ended up letting him go asleep on me for a while which is a bit of a rarity now.
Because if the grouchy-ness of the day I was worried about taking him swimming, but even after missing two weeks he wasn't phased at all - he really enjoyed again, he did lots of submersions and we played with a floating ball to help encourage him to reach out in the water as if doing a front crawl. Once he worked out what to do he enjoyed it.
The swimming lessons that we go to are at the school where Harrisson's daddy works, and this evening they had a concert on so we stayed for a bit after our swim.
The staff choir sang, then the student choir sang - they were fab! There were a lots of songs that the children had contributed ideas to for some of the lines, and some were in remembrance of WW1, so very emotional.
Harrisson was brilliant, and after a bit of shock after the first few rounds of applause he loved it! He had a very late night!
