Street Art?

I was drawn to this image as today's blip for two reasons - first, that it has an air of mystery, that abstract,  'what if', factor. The second is because the reality is something I have not seen before and wonder how it came to be.

It is the bonnet of the car that parked behind ours outside church this morning. Mr Flum suggested that it might be the result of acid damage but I wonder who would be so careless or wicked to cause such a mess. Answers on a postcard to...

Aside from that, I rather like it as abstract art.
