Kilts

Today was BB’s first Holy Communion at church.  I am not a church goer but it was a really  lovely event.  BB had quite a starring role which took me by surprise – both in terms of reading and singing.  He made us very proud, and it was so nice when people came up afterwards to say what a good reader/singer he is.  We had some family and friends here and we all went out for a celebratory lunch afterwards.

Once they had all gone, I went out for a walk.  It was a lovely evening, cloudy and windy, but with very clear views and I walked much further than I intended.  At one point I could see all three Forth Bridges - the rail, the road and the new one.

I didn’t get many shots of the Communion.  However, here is BB and his friends L and S having fun after the event. BB is swinging his kilt! The extra blip is from my walk.
