Remembering Veterans

The Memorial Day at our house was spent working hard. John and I did put the flag out this morning, accompanied with appropriate singing. Then we tackled the tasks at hand; John was mowing with the tractor, and I started cutting the hedge. I say started, because it's not finished yet...had to give my arms a break. Sun was out all afternoon. In the coming days we will be near 30 C, they say.
I posted a poppy, since it is associated with Veterans. We appreciate the huge sacrifices made by men and women in service of this country.
