A ride on the dike...

...resulted in some nice sunset shots. We saw a coyote hunting in the fields. The hay is being cut in many places, since the forecast is promising a stretch of sunny weather. Tuesdays I have Alexa and Ethan after school.  Alexa started writing a book called The Ballerina Meets Animal Friends. She drew a ballerina on the cover, and a squirrel next to it with the explanation: "The tail is in the back" (the tail was not visible in the picture).
