The rest of forever...

Shutter speed bingo!

About blinking time too. I worked out shutter speed. Yes, it's not rocket science but so far the ability to...nearly freeze my action shots without having a mssive ISO and by using the correct focus setting to make sure I didn't have the background crystal clear and the focus blurred...you get the point, it hasn't worked. Until today that is! Bingo! Don't ask me to explain why but needless to say the shutter speed wasn't quick enough, the focus was on one spot and not 39 and and and...well, I cracked it. Huzzah!

Well, that was my evening challenge anyway. This morning was a lovely early run, sun coming up, birds singing and a rain free sky. I went to a half six training session with three middle aged, rather unfit men who were oozing alcohol from their pores. Funny. Kicked ass! Breakfast followed and then I waved M&D off on their travels home...did the food shop, bought Pip another new ball and some treats and then set up the new blog for work. And applied to the Company of Educators (looks dead posh and clever!!). Did some work emails. Watched Queenie wave her way down the mall in her swanky car. Played ball with the troops and then captured this photo.

I must warn you that some readers might find the next sentence distressing. The orange ball that you see in the shot is Pip's new ball. She was very excited. We took 140 shots of her retrieving and were having a lovely time. The aforementioned orange ball got caught in a love triangle. Lottie, jealous at the attention it was receiving decided to take revenge...one orange ball became tangled between two mouths and then...oh no...became three pieces of orange ball. The action ceased. Lottie sodded off. Pippa gazed mournfully at the pieces of her beloved ball. She brought me a piece of it. We had a cuddle and called Lottie a meanie poo bum. And then we buried the pieces of ball in the big green receptacle and went for a walk.

We delivered the Parish Mag to all the houses. Me, three dogs, two leads, one gob-sodden ball, seven magazines, seven fliers, one ball thrower...add in one horse and rider, one cyclist, three dopey baby rabbits, too many pigeons, one stroppy farmer, one distracted GSP and one stupid BT who kept dragging his ass on the grass and peeing in mid air...it was eventful!

Life here really is rock and roll.

PS. Rags is fine. Whining, but fine. He's just a typical bloke...craves attention from the women!

Looks cool in large too! Thanks Powercut!
